We are currently seeking highly motivated PhD students to join the Electrochemical Energy Conversion Lab at the Center for Physical Sciences and Technology (FTMC) in Vilnius, Lithuania. Several positions starting Oct 2025 are available on topics:
1. "Search, characterization, and optimization of novel compatible electrolyte/electrode systems for the next generation Zn-ion batteries"
2. "Machine learning models and autonomization for chemical and materials science"
3. "Development of materials and technologies for photoelectrochemical energy conversion and artificial photosynthesis"
The position is fully funded for four years, depending on credentials and performance, with a net pay commensurate with European standards. The requirements are:
· MSc or MEng in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field
· Decent command of English (no formal certification necessary)
· Ability and willingness to relocate to Vilnius, Lithuania
